Well things are going rather well with the site, there has been a recent problem with the photo gallery as they are changing and adding some features. I am still in need of pictures and history.

I would like to take the time to thank everyone for the kind words and the encouragement for the website. It has far exceeded my expections for the site and it continues to grow. I still would like to get more old pictures posted so all can remember how we got to this point.

I would also like to thank Robert Boyles Jr. who has served as District Fire Chief for the last eight years. Thank you Rob.

I are looking forward to 2009 and the challenges that we will face. Until next time, Stay Safe.

Three Months

Just to update everyone, we are now at 4 months online and the site continues to grow. We just made a one year $$$ committment to the site. Hopefully the members enjoy it and continue to find those pictures and articles so they can be added.

The site continues to get praise, I just attended a training class and one of our County Cars remarked very positive about the site. So here is my plea to all, please get me items to add; that avenue has slowed greatly. Also if there is anything else that you may like to see added please drop me a note or call, I am always open to ideas.

Enough for now, to all: STAY SAFE and enjoy the upcoming holiday season.

New and Improved

The members approved the paid service so it looks like we have a site that can be ever expanding, so get me your pictures so we can get them on. We continue to get raves about the site which is nice to hear, it seems the old pictures are the biggest hit so far. If anyone has ideas for the site please feel free to send them my way. I would like to add a Chief and President page and also a monthly member profile, with the members permission of course. OK that is it for now, thanks again to all that has helped and hopefully we are making something here we all can be proud of.

Offically out of space

Well we did it, we are out of space to add anymore items so i went ahead and added more memory and will ask the Fire Company at the September meeting to start paying for the monthly service. We have gotten a ton of positive feedback and it seems the site is a BIG hit with everyone so I want to keep it going. Until next time!!!!

Need Help

I will make this the official help cry, we need any and all information about the history of our company, the site is looking really nice but as you can see we are missing several years worth of information. Pictures from the past are slowing making the way to me but we need more. We need to document how we got to where we are today. So again, if you have any articles or photos please let me know.

On another note, at this point in time the site hosting is free and we are allowed so much space, which we are close to using up, we will need to decide if we want to upgrade (we will need to pay a monthly fee) to unlimited space or stay where we are now. That choice I will leave up to the members, I have my opinion but I will share that with everyone in person. Happy viewing and until next time. The Start of a web page.

Well working on building this site truly has been fun and has brought back a lot of memories of past members, calls and events. I have never done anything like this so I am learning as I go. If you have any photos, articles and things that you would like to share and have on the site please let me know. The more things we add the better and more rewarding it will be. Special thanks goes out to Lester Herow and his daughter Marie for sending me some awesome pictures and sending me to sites to gather information. Please pass the site on to others in the emergency services and family members. I will adding stuff daily and just today I scanned about 100 more pictures. The site is having problems uploading pictures today so as soon as it is fixed I will be adding them. Enjoy the site and as I said please let me know what other stuff you would like to see.
